The silence
of the flowers
in the meadow
blowing in the breeze.
The silence
on top of
a snow-capped
mountain.
The silence
of meditation
when you and your
body become one.
All silence is not golden.
There is the silence

of the catatonic
of the dead.
All long to cry out
and embrace life.
